Welcome to the brand new RunLiverpool Marathon. The old Mersey Marathon was last was staged in the city in 1992 and is now set to return on a brand new and inspirational course.

The proposed 26.2 miles will take in both sides of the River Mersey with this carefully considered route aiming to deliver a first class race day experience for everyone taking part – as well as for the spectators – and there’s not a shell suit or droopy moustache in sight!

See, enjoy and experience Wirral and the fantastic Liverpool city centre on 9th October in a way that has never been done before!

It’s going to be 26.2 miles of absolute enjoyment brought to you by!

Entries will open in January and will fall into three categories. Firstly, there will be 3,000 guaranteed places for Merseyside runners with a further 6,000 places available for everyone else.
